Hello, you are currently looking at AO3 user poeticname’s Yuletide letter. I haven’t done Yuletide for a few years, and am generally just excited to be here haha. I’ve tried to provide a few springboard prompts for each fandom, but if you have something else in mind then feel free to follow that call instead, I'm sure I will be happiest with fic that you are also happy with.

As for the ongoing canon I requested (Ultraman Blazar), you can assume I am caught up to it throughout the writing period! If current canon events are inspiring you then go ahead and write about them, I will not be spoiled.

I will also add here that I have allowed anyone to gift me fic on AO3, and would happily welcome treats if you are so inclined. That being said, onto the letter!

England Series - K. J. Charles
Fenella Carruth, Patricia Merton

The England books are my favourites of Charles' work, something about the secluded mansion mysteries simply does it for me! Pat and Fen are so charming and I'd simply love to see more of the two of them, living their best quietly but unquestionably competent lives.

Prompts:

• Case fic This is probably obvious for a mystery series, but I would be delighted to receive it nonetheless. Maybe a case that takes place in a less secluded setting, or has them taking on a bit of an adventure as they investigate?
• First big argument as a couple While it's delightful that Pat and Fen get along so quickly and so wonderfully, I'd love to see a take on what happens when they're faced with a more internal conflict than the external conflicts they face in the book.
• Some kind of supernatural AU I simply love fiction about the supernatural, and I'd love for you to put Pat and Fen in some. Whether this is a full AU where the supernatural elements of the world are known to all or the two of them having to come to terms with encountering a ghost in the canon setting, I'm all for it.

Kamen Rider Build
Banjou Ryuuga, Kiryuu Sento

Build is a forever show to me. War is bad and love is real!! That's Build!! Excited yelling aside, I love Build's high drama, unhinged plotting, and the mix of goofiness and seriousness that good toku does so so well. Anything that brings more Build into my life will be more than welcome.

I thought about requesting any tagset characters for this, so know that other cast members appearing in large roles is a-okay by me, but I looked into my heart and knew I wanted more Sento and Banjou. I ship them and believe they are In Love wholeheartedly, but if you want to write gen about them I welcome that as well.

Prompts:

• Mundane post-canon life I know the V-Cinemas have them being Riders again because that's what V-Cinemas do, but I'd love a take on their life in the new world where they have to learn to be regular people (again for Banjou and for the first time for Sento).
• Sento and Banjou's serious attempts at ~romance~ Here is my shippy prompt! I want to see them try normal dating activities. I want Banjou to have to adjust to having Sento in all his quirks and glory as a lover instead of a normal girl. I want them to go to an amusement park and have Sento get really nerdy about the physics/safety of roller coaster design instead of paying attention to anything else about the park. That kind of thing.
• Crossovers with other toku I am extremely crossover-brained about toku shows and if you are too, feel free to write one for me! Ctrl+F for "rider" or "sentai" on my AO3 profile and you will get a decent idea of what I've watched, though I'd like to add that 555 is my favourite Rider series I haven't written for and I'd love an exploration of how Sento and Banjou would react to Takumi, or how Takumi would feel about seeing two Riders so close to one another. I will also say that I really wanted a LuPat crossover when Build was airing, so if you wrote a fic in the style of canon Rider-Sentai crossovers about those two shows I would be thrilled.

Love & Legends (Video Game)
Altea Bellerose, Helena Klein, Main Character (Love & Legends)

It has been a long time since I read Love & Legends but I was so excited to see it in the tagset I put it down as a request Immediately! I think about my fictional wife Altea every so often just in my day to day, and Helena's route dropping was easily the most excited I got for any Lovestruck route. Bring the energy of those characters back into my life and I will be more than happy.

I structured my request expecting to receive Altea/MC or Helena/MC, but if you want to go an Altea & Helena (Altea/Helena???) route, write a story about all three characters, or even focus on just one I am extremely open to that as well.

Prompts:

• More "real world" shenanigans Spending time with your love interest in the real world is a requisite part of every Love & Legends route for a reason - it is extremely charming and I love those parts every time, so do some more of it. Whether this is a missing scene from the original sojourn to the real world or a separate instance of ending up there is completely up to you.
• An MC taken in by the heroes spends more time with Helena This is a big canon divergence request, but I'd be extremely interested to see if such an MC could get past their perception of Helena as a villain and see her for who she is. You don't necessarily have to get this to the point of being a romance, pre-relationship tension or simply a budding respect/friendship would be equally nice.
• Battle couple Altea & MC Like I said above it has been a long time since I read L&L, but I remember being excited when the MC started being able to hold her own in Altea's route and I'd love some established relationship fic centering around the two of them as competent warriors.

Ultraman Blazar
Ultraman Blazar

Blazar is my currently airing toku love, I am completely obsessed with its episodic sci-fi military energy and its fun creatures. As such, I have requested fic about Blazar himself, for maximum sci-fi creature energy! Feel free to wildly speculate about him, his motivations, and his planet - I will have fun reading whether you end up being close to canon or not.

I would prefer not to receive anything ship-centric for this fandom, not because I am against it but it is simply not what I find interesting about the show.

Prompts:

• Canon events from Blazar's POV I'd love a peek into the big guy's head! Feel free to go experimental with this - I love aliens that feel truly alien and strange. Write about how he feels during his opposition to Gento during the kaiju parent episode, or why he grabbed that juice. What was so appealing about the juice...
• Blazar and Gento's family Gento's reactions to Blazar taking over his body suggest he's doing that more often that we see, so what if he's experiencing such episodes around his family? How does he explain them? How do his wife and son react to them? One of my few disappointments with Blazar so far is how generic Gento's family feel, so if you put them in a situation and make them feel more fleshed out I will be very excited.
• Blazar and the rest of Gento's unit Does he have thoughts on them? Does he have favourites? Was he conscious and comprehending for the washing machine episode, and does he have thoughts on Yasunobu after that whole thing? Many possibilities.
