This is AO3 user elo_quentalias’ letter for Auctions, As Threatened! My philosophy with letters is always "if you have an idea just go for it and don't worry about my prompts" so truly, you can stop reading here if you'd like to write for me and already know what you're going for! I'd like to provide a bit of a springboard in case any writers are interested in my tags but don't have ideas, so with that said: onto the letter.

Blue Reflection (Video Games)
I played and finished Second Light not too long ago, and I've been trying to spread the good word since... Its plot is anime-ass anime but sometimes that's just what you need, you know. The combat isn't even good and yet having your girls do their big transformation animation at the beginning of a boss battle? Still hits. I found the characters, particularly the Second Light-only girls, really charming and I'd love to see more of them in fanwork.

Fandom-Specific DNWs: Fic about the first game or Ray (references are fine but I have only played Second Light), magically removing Yuki's non-Ash-related health issues

Miyauchi Rena/Kinjou Yuki
Yuri!!!! I went into Second Light knowing there was a canon romance among the girls but not knowing which characters were involved - you can imagine my excitement when I realized it was the two that were already my favourites among the cast. I love Yuki's forced-but-real cheerfulness and Rena's attempts to be strict out of care for others, the reveal that Rena had been pining for her silly, fun-loving friend all along... Chef's kiss. I'd love pre-get together and post-get together fic just about equally for these two - make them angst or make them happy, I'll be glad to see them either way.
Prompts:

• Post-canon The game has no room for it but I really really want an epilogue for these two nonetheless - how are their memories in the new world? How are they making a relationship work outside the contained space of the Oasis?
• Rena's secret nerd hobbies We don't know if Yuki is aware of her girlfriend being a doujin-drawing otaku - I'd love to read about her finding out, or knowing about it and trying to understand the appeal or understand more about Rena through her hobbies.
• Cohabitation shenanigans This is in my general likes but I think it fits well for Rena and Yuki - technically they live together during the main plot but there are tons of other people around and they aren't romantically together for most of it, so I'd love to see them try to make it work as a couple on their own.

Hoshizaki Ao & Kuno Kirara
I Just Think They Were Neat and it's a shame that there's absolutely zero fic about Kirara outside of an ensemble setting on AO3. I get it, presumably most of her story is in the untranslated gacha game that EOS'd years ago, but I came to really like her over the course of Second Light and thought her dynamic with Ao was sweet. Kirara's such an "isolated kid learning how friendship works" character and I'm a sucker for that plot. Then her and Ao get to be nerd friends! Cute stuff. (You're welcome to play into the dialogue in later "dates" that implies Kirara has a crush on Ao by the end, but I'd prefer genfic for these two.)
Prompts:

• Post-canon How are their memories post-true end? Has Kirara's life wildly diverged in the new world?
• Kirara's spirituality I love characters with strange ideas about divinity and Kirara certainly qualifies - how is her clear belief in other kami affected by finding out the truth of the voice that was speaking to her? If going for a post-canon fic, has she ever heard the voice in her new life, are her beliefs different because of that?

Ensemble Stars! (Video Game)
Ensemble Stars has taken up permanent residence in my brain. You will probably get a better idea of what I like about it from the tags I chose rather than a description so here they are:

Morisawa Chiaki/Shinkai Kanata
Chiaki and Kanata are so Made For Me you basically can't go wrong. Cute fluff about their day-to-day hangouts? Hell yes. Serious pining underneath their goofy silly attitudes that one or both can't quite bring themselves to say? Hell yes also. Leaning into the angst of their first/second years at Yumenosaki and all that entails? I love high drama in my ships, hell yes. I adore them, pick any era of ChiaKana and any scenario, as long as they are in love and doing the best they can do for each other I will be happy.
Prompts:

• Post-Meteor Impact but pre-third year Such a potent time for a growing relationship... Both building the foundation of what is to come and recovering from what has come before... It's a time period for them canon has largely left alone and I'd love to see fic in that setting.
• Outsider POV that's outside Ryuseitai It makes total sense that the juniors are the ensemble of most ChiaKana fic but I'd love to see some outsiders observing them, wondering what is going on there. My other fave unit is Crazy:B and I think Rinne could be an interesting choice for this, considering the events of the !! main story and him also being Kanata's roommate.
• AU where Chiaki is a supernatural creature & Kanata is a human Clearly they're tailor-made for the other way around and there's tons of fanwork about that, but I'd adore a look at the dynamic between them created in this opposite scenario, especially if Kanata's background of "believing himself to be non-human and eventually realizing that isn't the case" remains the same.

Ran Nagisa/Saegusa Ibara
Love whatever these two have going on. They are both profoundly weird in ways that should be incompatible and yet hard-nosed "I'm so glad I'm evil" capitalist Ibara has made his success in life highly dependant on Nagisa, a thoughtful and kind person who loves to wander away and contemplate the age of rocks. Incredible stuff. I like both goofy and serious takes on their relationship, so go with whatever mood you'd prefer on that count.
Prompts:

• Ibara sickfic I mostly want this because he would hate it so much. <3
• Nagisa attempting office politics Wouldn't it be good for him, as Eden's leader, to take a little interest in Ibara's side of things for once? He can help, he's sure of it.
• Wilderness survival I have no idea how this would happen, maybe they're doing idol activities and being filmed for a variety show that's harsher than they're used to (in the idol world), but I want to see them genuinely have to make an attempt at it, somehow.

Mikejima Madara & Mikejima Maguro
Mikejima Madara & Shinkai Kanata
Simply put, I am in the mood to read about Madara being sad about how he fucked up his relationships with the two people most important to him in his childhood. I love Madara most as this archly tragic character, doomed to push away everyone he cares about unless he can get his shit together while showing no signs of getting that shit together at all. And being a cheerful cowboy singing about getting along with everybody on stage. Kanata is The fave and Maguro is somehow also a fave, despite her side character status so truly, anything about either of these dynamics would be great to me.
Prompts:

• Flashback day in the life Abyss wasn't enough for me I want to see more little Madara... Make me sad about a time in his life when he believed he could keep everything together...
• The tokusatsu element of it all This is a IYKYK prompt, please don't feel any pressure to learn about toku if you don't know anything, But. I love toku myself and think it's an underrepresented part of Madara's character, while also being part of Kanata's and Maguro's. (If you don't remember that Maguro detail, it's mentioned in Submarine when Chiaki's on the phone with Madara.) I'd love fic that works in the toku-y themes of Madara's character such as his feelings on heroism, or touches on what the genre means to him, and to Kanata or Maguro in turn.

Kamen Rider 555
My line about Faiz is that it isn't my favourite KR show, but it's high up on the list and it does have my favourite main Rider. I love Takumi, I love his clumsy attempts to alternately push away and connect with the people around him, and I love that Faiz is truly, to its core, about communication. I love both fic that lets canon resolve in a nicer way and fic that lets you sit in how it actually ends, so go with your heart and think about the Faiz you would like to see in the world.

Inui Takumi/Kiba Yuuji
I feel like I've been seeing so much good sad fanart of these two recently and I'm craving fic to go with it. They're so sweet with each other for so much of Faiz, and then Kiba's heel turn happens so abruptly it's just Gone. I miss them and I'm always sad that mentioning Kiba is off-limits in post-canon Faiz material - I completely understand why but it's still sad to me when he's so important to the show itself... Even just an older Takumi wistfully thinking of Kiba would be fine? Though if you go full fix-it "everyone lives" mode, I love that for them also... They could have been so good...
Prompts:

• "Missing scenes" of the two spending time together during canon The quiet companionship they have... Weh...
• Fighting on the same side They don't do it very much I'd like to see more!!!
• Canon divergence where they get together and things still go to shit This is my angst prompt, changing the world to be a liiiiittle bit kinder to them but still driving the knife in the end.

Solo: Inui Takumi
As I said in my general Faiz description above, I loooooove Takumi. I honestly. Don't really have prompts for Takkun-only fic but I nominated and kept him as a tag because I want to make it perfectly clear that I will love any Takumi-centric fic thrown my way.

Solo: Osada Yuka
Yuka is a character that I wish had more to do in canon - the premise of her character is so strong and the actress does a good job with what she's given but at the end of the day I just want more than what we got. You don't have to go full "everyone lives" AU with this request if you don't want to, you can be canon compliant and imply Yuka's eventual fate still befalls her if that appeals to you more, I'll be happy with more Yuka no matter the mood surrounding her.
Prompts:

• Dynamics between her and the Kikuchi Cleaning gang Yuka could have such interesting relationships with Keitaro and Mari given a little more time to elaborate on them, and there's even the early moment where Takumi rescues her that suggests they could have an interesting dynamic too - I'd love to see any one of these threads followed up on.
• Belt stealing leads to Yuka having the Faiz belt Look, the constant henshin belt stealing is my favourite thing that's pretty much unique to Faiz among KR shows and if you have a good idea for a scenario where Yuka gets to be Faiz, even temporarily... I want to see it.

Crossover Requests
A note for my crossover requests is that I am only requesting fanfic for my singular fandoms, but I added fanart as a medium for the crossover requests specifically - I will be d e l i g h t e d if you draw anything for my self-indulgent requests here.

Anya Forger (Spy x Family) & Oukawa Kohaku (Ensemble Stars!)
This is very much a "mashing my disparate interests together" crossover but think about it. It would be funny (important), cute (also important), and they're both pimk (most important of all). Genuinely though, I think there's some opportunity for things we haven't seen in canon for them if these two were to meet: how would Kohaku, a perpetually babied teenager, behave around a child? We technically get an answer to that in Last Mission, but it's mostly offscreen and I'd love to see it firsthand. How would Anya, who only has peers and full adults in her life, react to being around a Teen (who is also an idol and assassin whose mind she can read)? If this is post-Last Mission for Kohaku, how is he feeling about being around a child again after J? I think Kohaku as a character would fit right in to the general tone of SpyFam and I'd love to see what you could do for development between him and Anya. As for how to square the circle of their two canons being set in entirely different time periods... That is up to you. Maybe it's somehow only Westalis and Ostania that aren't modern in the SpyFam world. That could happen.

Inui Takumi (KR 555) & Kiryuu Sento (KR Build)
Now this is a crossover I want mostly just because they're my faves but also... I still want it. Takumi's gruffness as opposed to Sento's energy and bluster makes for a good contrast on the surface, while below the surface they're both guys who feel strongly about heroism and have that classic Kamen Rider willingness to self-sacrifice. An explicitly older Takumi and an explicitly younger Sento could also make for a nice contrast? I just think they are neat.
